In Focus: The Tottenham team against Bournemouth

This is the second game in a row that I have been able to do an In Focus segment on the team performance in the Premier League.

Just when you think stuffing Everton 6-2 at Goodison Park is the highlight of Tottenham’s Christmas, they go and thrash Bournemouth 5-0 at home.

What made this even more impressive was the changes made to the squad, highlighting the depth it now has.

Rose, Foyth, and Walker-Peters all came into the defence, and Lucas Moura replaced Dele Alli in attack, but Tottenham didn’t lose any inch of quality through their starting XI.

Kane, Moura, Sonny, and Eriksen all chipped in with goals, with Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko pulling the strings from deeper positions.

The least experience member of the team, KWP, put in a man of the match performance with three assists in the opening half.

Foyth earned a hat trick on his first game back. Toby martialled the defence. Hugo won on his birthday. Danny Rose is back to his best.

Every one of those players was simply superb today, and it seems whatever eleven Poch puts out can come up with the goods at the moment.
