The ink isn’t even dry on Radu Dragusin’s contract with Tottenham Hotspur, and yet his agent is already talking up the chances of the player moving to Real Madrid or Barcelona in the future.
Earlier this week, it emerged that Dragusin would have a choice to make between either signing for Tottenham, or opting for a switch to Bayern Munich (Gianluca Di Marzio).
Luckily for Spurs fans, the Romanian defender decided to honour his word and move forward with the initial agreement he had with the Lilywhites. It is thought Dragusin felt more wanted by the North London club and the manager, Ange Postecoglou (GSP via Sport Witness).
However, it is believed Bayern Munich were confident they would end up signing the player (The Times). Indeed, one person who could not believe Dragusin chose Spurs, is his agent, Florin Manea, and he told Emanuel Rosu as much (as relayed by The Metro and Fabrizio Romano).
Dragusin dreams of playing for Real Madrid
Manea has been a loud and constant presence throughout the ongoing transfer saga, and he hasn’t finished talking yet. In an interview with Romanian outlet Digisport, Manea has now predicted his client will end up at one of the top La Liga clubs in the future.
He said: “In three or four years I see him at Real Madrid. We are only at the beginning of the road, we want them to reach the best clubs in the world. Bayern is among the biggest clubs, but his dream is Real or Barcelona.”

I cannot believe the audacity of Manea at this stage. How can he not realise that his client has just secured the biggest move of his career and will naturally be excited about joining Spurs, and that now would be a great time to stop talking?
