‘Incredible season’ – Oliver Skipp sends message to fans on social media

Oliver Skipp has taken to social media to thank Norwich fans and his teammates after helping the club to the EFL Championship title.

Skipp has come of age over the course of his loan spell at Carrow Road this season and has arguably gotten better as the campaign has gone on.

The 20-year-old has shown maturity beyond his years and has been indispensable for the Canaries, putting out fires in front of the back four and helping to start attacks from deep.

Daniel Farke has admitted that Norwich will speak to Spurs about re-signing the midfielder on loan next season but claimed that the decision rests with the North Londoners.

Alexander Tettey also waxed lyrical about Skipp’s performances this season and insisted that it would be in the Tottenham academy graduate’s best interest to continue his development with the East Anglian club.

Going by his most recent post on Instagram, Skipp certainly appears to have enjoyed his time at the club.

He wrote: “The perfect end to an incredible season. Thanks to all the staff, players and people involved with the club and the support from all the fans. Only thing missing was playing in front of a full Carrow Road.”
