One less in the Infirmary: 5 remain sidelined

Mauricio Pochettino will be without five senior players when he takes his Tottenham Hotspur team north to face promoted Huddersfield at the John Smith’s stadium on Saturday lunchtime.

Long term casualties Erik Lamela (hip) and Danny Rose (knee) remain sidelined while injured central midfield duo Moussa Dembele and Victor Wanyama are also unavailable to Pochettino.

New recruit Serge Aurier is also out. The 24-year-old France international was of course sent off at the London Stadium in last weekend’s 3-2 defeat of West Ham and serves a one match ban.

We have been in fine form away from our temporary home at Wembley,winning our four games in all competitions this season, and hopefully that will continue against David Wagner’s side who’ve made an excellent start to life as a Premier League team, occupying an encouraging eight place after the opening six games.

However on a positive note, Christian Eriksen is available for selection, after a bout of illness forced him out of Tuesday’s 3-0 win in Cyprus.

Our predicted starting 11;

Lloris,Sanchez,Alderweireld,Vertonghen,Trippier,Dier,Sissoko,Davies,Eriksen, Kane,Dele
