Injured Spurs star reportedly back in training

Tottenham Hotspur have been plagued with injuries of late, with a number of first team stars struggling with long-term knocks.

The likes of Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen, Mousa Dembele, Dele Alli, Serge Aurier, Luke Amos and Vincent Janssen have all been out injured for a number of weeks.

Club captain Hugo Lloris and Dutch goalie Michel Vorm have recently returned from injury.

One of the injured crop who seems sure to follow them is Serge Aurier after he was called up to the Ivory Coast national team for their upcoming matches, as reported by Football London.

This implies the right back has returned to training and will be available to play for both his country and his club once the West Ham game rolls around.

This could be invaluable as Kieran Trippier has played a lot of football over the past year and a half.

The rest of Spurs’ injured contingent are though to be absentees for the London derby.
