Kudus was arguably Tottenham’s most consistent attacker during the first half of the season, but the Ghanaian has been out with a hamstring injury since January.
The Spurs winger was initially expected to return last month, but suffered another setback, which ruled him out of the rest of the campaign.
He is still waiting for his first appearance under De Zerbi, and it appears that he is confident he can thrive in the Italian’s system.
When a Spurs fan admitted that he cannot wait to watch Kudus under the Italian coach, the 25-year-old responded on X with: “Watch me”, along with an hourglass emoji.
De Zerbi sees Kudus as a key player for Spurs
There have been some rumours suggesting that Kudus could exit Spurs this summer, but the winger’s latest statement clearly shows that he is keen to play under the new Tottenham boss.
Additionally, De Zerbi himself has admitted he saw the Tottenham winger as a ‘crucial’ player for the club.
Spurs fans will be hoping that the former West Ham man comes back fully fit and firing in pre-season after a long break.
