Richarlison has taken to social media to post an image of him hard at work, with the forward hinting that he is now nearing a return to action.
Richarlison’s last start for Tottenham came in the 2-1 loss to Wolves over a month ago, with the Brazilian being sidelined with a calf injury since then.
While Son Heung-min has done a decent job leading the line in the 26-year-old’s absence, the South Korean has struggled on occasions to get involved in the game when coming up against low-lying defences.
That was the case against Newcastle United last week as the Tottenham captain was mostly a passenger for the hour that he featured before being taken off by Ange Postecoglou.
The Tottenham head coach would be hoping that Richarlison is back to lead the line for the North London derby next week so that Son can move back to the left.
