Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Wilson Palacios was stretchered off while on international duty.
Palacios left the field in agony during Honduras’ friendly defeat to Romania and there are now doubts over his future in the World Cup.
The midfielder has been sent for tests on the thigh problem before a decision is made.
