Injury boost for Spurs ahead of Wolves match

Tottenham Hotspur are almost up to a full compliment of first team stars again after Mousa Dembele, Dele Alli, and Christian Eriksen returned to the side in the past week.

Only Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen make the first team long-term absentee list now.

But Spurs have received a different kind of injury boost today, with Wolves suffering their own squad problems.

According to the Birmingham Mail, first team star Diogo Jota will not be available for the match against Spurs this evening at Molineux.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo ruled out any kind of Jota appearance in the match.

The Wolves gaffer named a completely unchanged starting eleven for his first nine games in the Premier League.

Jota is expected to be replaced by Traore as he was last time out.

Wolves have been extremely impressive during their return to the top flight, but Spurs have an impressive record against newly promoted sides.
