The Premier Injuries website, which provides expert analysis of all the injuries across the Premier League, have given a tentative return date for Micky van de Ven, and it is not good news for Spurs fans.

Micky van de Ven is out with a hamstring injury
Van de Ven has been plagued by regular hamstring injuries during his short Tottenham career, and it is the same issue that has now sidelined the centre-back once again.
However, on this occasion, it is not as serious an injury as he suffered last season, with the centre-back having a strain rather than a tear.
Speaking ahead of Tottenham‘s clash against Ipswich Town, Ange Postecoglou said that the defender’s return date will depend on how he recovers during the international break (Football.London).

Date provided for Van de Ven’s return
Spurs fans will be hoping that the two weeks rest will be enough to see the Dutchman get up to speed and that we see him back in the starting eleven for Tottenham’s trip to the Etihad Stadium on November 23.
However, the Premier Injuries website have now estimated that the 23-year-old will only return to action at the start of December.
If that is the case, he will miss Tottenham’s clash against Manchester City as well as their Europa League encounter against AS Roma.

Ange Postecoglou will not want to risk Van de Ven
Given how important Van de Ven is to the Tottenham side, Postecoglou will not risk playing the Netherlands international unless he is 100 per cent fit.
The Australian will be erring on the side of caution, which is why we might be unlikely to see the defender play against Pep Guardiola’s side after the international break.
Spurs also need to buy a new left-centre-back to take some of the pressure away from those hamstrings.
