Injury latest on Dele, Dembele, Eriksen and co

Tottenham have been struggling with injuries of late, which took its toll against Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday.

At 3-2 down, looking for a goal to seal a wonderful come back, Pochettino had only Moussa Sissoko and Fernando Llorente to turn to on the bench, neither of whom would be classified as game-changers.

The likes of Christian Eriksen, Mousa Dembele, Jan Vertonghen, Dele Alli, Michel Vorm, Hugo Lloris, Serge Aurier, and Luke Amos have all spent time on the side lines in the past few weeks.

Tottenham have now issued an injury update ahead of the Premier League fixture against Cardiff this weekend.

Dele Alli, Serge Aurier, Mousa Dembele, Christian Eriksen, and Jan Vertonghen all remain injured and unavailable for the game.

Michel Vorm has returned to training, while Hugo Lloris returned to the starting line up on Wednesday.

Spurs will have to limp on with a severely depleted squad as they look to make it three wins on the bounce in the Premier League.

They will be hoping to get as many players back as possible before their crucial four games in eight days at the end of this month.
