Nuno Espirito Santo has provided an update on the fitness of Cristian Romero to journalists who have dialled into Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Manchester City press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Nuno answering questions prior to the visit of the current Premier League champions to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
Pre-match press conferences continue to take place on the Zoom video conferencing following the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, which has impacted the ability of journalists being able to attend Hotspur Way in person.

Spurs face a tough curtain-raiser to the new Premier League campaign and the saga involving Harry Kane’s future certainly has not helped, however if Cristian Romero is fit to start, it will certainly give the home fans a massive lift.
