Internazionale are attempting to hijack fierce rivals AC Milan’s pursuit of Mousa Dembele, according to reports in Italy.
talkSPORT revealed yesterday, Milan have already seen several offers for the Belgium international rejected by Spurs however they are refusing to give up the chase with Dembele’s future in north London unclear with his contract stand-off showing no signs of progression.
Clubs from around Europe afe monitoring the situation and are set to join the race for his signature and according to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, one of the interested parties is Inter Milan, who have reportedly sounded our player’s representatives.
Spurs will reject any offers for the Belgian but with the player in such demand, they face a huge fight keeping hold of him.
Mauricio Pochettino would be loathe to lose a player he called a “genius” earlier this season, however it is unlikely Spurs would offer the midfielder the long term deal he is likely to crave because of concerns over his fitness.
