According to an article on talkSPORT Inter Milan are dispatching scouts to watch midfielder Mousa Dembele in action for Belgium.
The Nerazzuri have set their sights on the 30-year-old, who has one year left on his current contract at Spurs.
Dembele’s Red Devil’s face Egypt on Wednesday night in Brussels before they begin their World Cup campaign and the article adds rage Inter want to make the midfield powerhouse one of their marquee signings this summer and, according to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, they are stepping up their scouting of him.
The article goes on to say Inter have organised for scouts to watch the midfielder in action for Belgium over the next month – beginning with their friendly against Egypt on Wednesday night adding that Inter officials are then expected to keep tabs on Dembele at the World Cup too in the hope a deal can be struck then.
Inter hope to beat off competition from rivals AC however Tottenham are yet to indicate if they would be willing to sell Dembele, ibitvrge article does report that he has an asking price of close to £25 million.
