International roundup – Find out how the Spurs lads did on Thursday

Tottenham Hotspur have a number of first team stars away on international duty at the moment, and it was a successful night for all of them on Thursday.

Eriksen was in action for Denmark against Kosovo, and although his side only managed a 2-2 draw, he scored a penalty just three minutes after coming on. Luckily it was only a friendly match.

Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld had a more competitive game as they took on Russia in a EURO 2020 qualifier. The Belgians won 3-1 thanks to two goals from Eden Hazard, and it would have been a clean sheet for Jan and Toby if not for a horrific mistake by Courtois.

Academy graduate Anthony Georgiou started in midfield for Cyprus against San Marino as they won 5-0 in the Euros qualifier. Georgiou even set up a goal in the thrashing.

Davinson Sanchez started for Colombia in a 1-0 friendly win over Japan, keeping a clean sheet in the process.

Heung Min Son also started in a 1-0 win for South Korea over Bolivia, but he failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
