‘Is he actually a wizard?’ – Cambridge United already love their on-loan Spurs starlet

Tottenham Hotspur boss, Mauricio Pochettino, handed out minutes to a load of academy starlets during the pre-season tour this year.

While Troy Parrott and Japhet Tanganga were the two standout players on the Asia tour, Jack Roles also impressed during his cameo against Juventus.

Spurs have now taken the decision to send the midfield man out on loan for the season, with Roles joining up with Cambridge United in League Two (BBC).

The 20-year-old only officially joined Cambridge yesterday, but went straight into the starting line up for their match against Scunthorpe.

Cambridge won the match 3-2, thanks to a Paul Lewis brace, but it seems as if the club are already extremely happy with their on-loan man from Spurs.

The club immediately took to Twitter after securing the three points to send Tottenham a funny message.

Cambridge wanted to know whether Jack Roles was actually a wizard, implying that the player has already made a big impression.
