Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to share their reaction to Nuno Espirito Santo’s team selection for this evening’s match in Portugal.
Tottenham face Pacos de Ferriera in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League play-off at the Estádio Capital do Móvel.
As promised, the Spurs head coach has made wholesale changes from the starting eleven which beat Manchester City in the Premier League opener on Sunday in North London, having left a number of players back in the English capital.
There are debuts for all three of Tottenham’s recent signings with Pierluigi Gollini taking his place between the sticks, while Cristian Romero and Bryan Gil also make a start.
Dane Scarlett also starts a competitive fixture for the first time, following his impressive displays during pre-season.
Here is what some of the North London faithful had to say about the team that takes to the field this evening:
BRILLIANT! Exactly how it should be. Give the young players a chance to show how good they are. While resting all first team players. COYS!!

Clarke can’t even get in this squad wow

I'm intrigued to see how the young lads get on. Both Craig brothers on the bench for the first time and White could be useful later on from set pieces.
First look at Gil, Romero and Gollini in a competitive game.

Is this team we're against really that bad or is this a massive risk?
