‘It all points to him staying’ – Journalist contradicts Pochettino quit reports

The Telegraph’s Chief Football Correspondent Jason Burt has claimed that he has spoken to Paris Saint-Germain and they are insistent that Mauricio Pochettino has not told them he wants to quit.

French news outlet Liberation and reliable Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold both revealed earlier this evening that Pochettino has already told the French giants that it is his desire to leave and return to Spurs.

Burt took to Twitter to claim that PSG are adamant there has been no conversation between the Argentine and club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi or any other sources within the Ligue 1 giants over his desire to leave.

Pochettino has led PSG to two trophies since taking over, the French Super Cup and French Cup.

The journalist also highlighted the fact that Pochettino now appears to have two years remaining on his contract as another sign that he is going to remain in the French capital this summer.
