‘It is true’ – Journalist confirms Spurs are tracking Peruvian defender

Lora’s displays have since garnered attention from a host of clubs across Europe, namely in the Premier League, with Planet Sport reporting north London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal are among those monitoring his progress.

And Peruvian reporter Montalvan has since confirmed that the pair indeed are interested in the right-back, but are also scouring the rest of South America for additions ahead of next season.

In total, Lora has already clocked up more than 40 appearances for Sporting Cristal, providing four assists in that time (Transfermarkt).

South America is very much an underused direct market for Premier League clubs so it will be interesting to see how such a move could progress in the summer.

At 21, Lora will have plenty of ways he can develop to keep getting better, but the fact he is continuing to gain senior experience at his age is a big positive.
