‘It never stops’ – Some Spurs fans react to Dele Alli’s latest Instagram post

It has hardly been the dream 2019 for Tottenham’s Dele Alli, as he has seen injury and inconsistent form slide him further and further down the pecking order in North London.

With the likes of Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko, Tanguy Ndombele, Heung Min Son, and Harry Kane starting most matches, there seems to be little room for an out-of-form Dele.

Alli was also left out of the latest England squad in favour of the likes of James Maddison, Ross Barkley, and Mason Mount.

Unfortunately for Alli, he seems to be a victim of his own success, after posting such incredible numbers over his early Premier League seasons.

Alli scored ten in his first Premier League season with Spurs, followed by 18 in 2016/17 and nine the following year. However, last season, Dele only managed five in 25 games, and only seven in 38 across all competitions (Wikipedia).

However, Alli has insisted that the work never stops with his latest Instagram post, with some Spurs fans flooding the comments section.
