“It really is incredible” – Former Arsenal player raves about Tottenham’s new stadium

Tottenham have completely transformed their recent form after moving into their new 62,062-capacity stadium.

Since the move, Tottenham have recorded three wins on the bounce in all competitions, after previously going through a challenging spell of five Premier League games without a win.

The stadium was once again rocking for the entire ninety minutes yesterday evening with Tottenham putting already relegated Huddersfield to the sword.

Unlike many of the modern stadia, the venue appears to be really atmospheric. If the early signs are anything to go by, it looks like Spurs will certainly enjoy playing at the venue.

Many former players and pundits who have been to the stadium have claimed that it is one of the best in the world, and former Arsenal defender Alex Scott became the latest addition the list.

Scott, who has featured for Arsenal Women 148 times in her career, talked in glowing terms about the venue while covering Tottenham’s game against Huddersfield yesterday for Sky Sports.

According to the Express, she said, “It really is (incredible). There’s been talk about some players slipping but look there’s no excuses it is absolutely magnificent.

“The arena, the sounds, everything about it is magnificent, and Spurs fans and Spurs players this is now they’re home.

“They’re enjoying it and they’re going to come out today and everyone, the fans coming in you can already sense the atmosphere – and that’s coming from me!”
