Italian outlet publish strange hit piece on Randal Kolo Muani at Tottenham

A Turin-based publication has made a strange claim about Randal Kolo Muani at Tottenham, which suggests that there is still bitterness at Juventus about missing out on the striker in the summer.

Kolo Muani arrived at Tottenham on loan from PSG on deadline day, with the deal seemingly coming out of nowhere.

According to reports, Juventus were shocked that PSG allowed Kolo Muani to join Spurs on a straight loan deal after the Serie A club negotiated with the Ligue 1 giants for the striker throughout the summer.

The forward, who is currently out with an injury, has made just one appearance for the Lilywhites so far and is still waiting for his Premier League debut.

Publication claims Randal Kolo Muani is set for Tottenham failure

TuttoJuve note Kolo Muani’s fitness troubles and make some strange claims about the 26-year-old.

They say that the striker’s stint in London is passing by ‘without tangible progress’ and label his performances as ‘subpar’, which is a strange claim to make about a player who has not yet made a start for Spurs.

The publication concludes that the Frenchman looks set for ‘another disappointing season’ in the Premier League, which comes across as sour grapes after the Old Lady lost out on the player.

How close is Muani to returning to fitness?

Thomas Frank has admitted that Kolo Muani’s dead leg is not healing as fast as Tottenham hoped, but the Dane made it clear that it is not a serious problem.

The Spurs boss remains hopeful that the on-loan Paris Saint-Germain will return to action very soon.

However, Tottenham’s Champions League clash against Bodo/Glimt will come too soon for Kolo Muani, who did not train with his Spurs teammates on Monday.
