Alex Bruce believes that a loan move to Celtic would be ideal for Spurs youngster Jack Clarke next season.
Clarke has failed to make much of an impression since completing a £9.5 million move to Tottenham last summer.
Spurs’ decision to loan the winger back to Leeds proved to be a poor decision after the 19-year-old barely got a look in for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
The club would have hoped that Clarke would have reignited his form at QPR after joining them on loan in January but has also failed to break into the starting eleven, managing only one start for the Hoops before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic(transfermarkt.com).
Celtic are said to be interested in taking the youngster on loan next season and are said to be keeping tabs on his situation.
The Glasgow giants reportedly tried in vain to sign him on loan before he joined QPR in January and are expected to return for him this summer.
Bruce believes that Celtic Park will be a good place for Clarke to continue his development.
Speaking to Football Insider, the pundit said: “I would recommend anyone to go to a club like Celtic to get game time.
“It’s a great club, any young lad who’s got the opportunity to go and play anywhere, I would recommend just to go and do it and if you can join a club like Celtic in the process then fantastic.
“I’m all for it.”

Clarke needs to find his confidence again and a move to Scottish football could help him get back his self-belief. I think it would be wise to loan him to Celtic in the first half of the season. If he does well and regains his confidence, we should look to send him to a Championship club in January.
