“I’ve got agents” – Spurs target speaks out on transfer rumours

According to reports, Tottenham are set to invest heavily into their squad in the summer ahead of what will be their first full season in the new stadium.

The club have not added a single player to their squad in the last two transfer windows but a major turnover of players is expected in the summer with several players also likely to leave the club.

Among the attacking talents that have been linked with a move to Spurs is Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen.

The 22-year-old has had a terrific season in the Championship for the Tigers having found the back of the net 21 times so far in the league.

Bowen’s performances have reportedly caught the eye of several top-flight clubs and Spurs are said to be one of the clubs monitoring him closely.

It has even been reported that Tottenham’s scouts who have been watching the wide man, have likened him to Liverpool star Mohamed Salah. (Source: Football Insider)

The youngster has now spoken out about the speculation in the press linking him with Premier League clubs and said that it was a sign that he was playing well.

However, he insisted that he is only focussed on getting promoted to the Premier League with Hull City at the moment.

Speaking to Football League World, Bowen said, “You always see it wherever you are (the speculation) but I think that shows how well I’ve done which is always nice.

“I’ve got agents, though, so they deal with anything and I try not to worry about it too much.

“There’s always going to be stuff if you’re playing well and doing well but I’m at Hull and, for me, I’m trying to get into the Premier League with them.

“We’ve got five cup finals left and if we can get the results who knows where we’ll end up.”
