Jack Clarke takes to Instagram after milestone appearance

Tottenham fans were really excited for the start of the new season as the club invested significantly into their squad in the summer transfer window.

However, none of the signings have really managed to make a massive impression so far. While Tanguy Ndombele looked quite tidy in his first two outings, he picked up an injury that has seen him miss out on the last two matches.

Giovani Lo Celso arrived late in the window and is yet to start a game for the Lilywhites while Ryan Sessegnon is still recovering from his hamstring injury.

However, the most bewildering case as to be that of Jack Clarke, who was signed from Leeds United in the summer and loaned back to the Championship club for the season.

However, the 18-year-old has barely had got any game time this season for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season, promoting some Spurs fans on social media to question if he should be called back from the loan.

Meanwhile, Clarke made his debut for the England U20’s yesterday as he came on as a second-half substitute in their game against Netherland’s U-20 which ended in a 0-0 draw.

It does look like Bielsa isn’t too keen to play him given that he has no future at Leeds. If this situation is going to continue, Tottenham will be better off terminating the loan with Leeds and loaning him elsewhere instead. At 18 years of age, he needs to keep playing regularly to mature into a top player.
