Sky Sports News believe Jack Grealish is very ‘disappointed’ and very ‘disillusioned’ after the Aston Villa officials deny him his desired move to spurs.

However, reports also believe the 22-year-old has not given up hope of a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Grealish was apparently ‘promised’ a move to Spurs before the new owner arrived at Villa Park and denied him his dream move to a Champions League side.

Just over one day currently remains until the summer transfer window slams shut but both Spurs and Grealish believe the move is not dead.

It was reported last night a £25m bid from Spurs was lodged for the 22-year-old but today Villa stated they would not be selling their star player.

The transfer fee was an issue initially as the Lions were holding out for a bid in excess of £30m but now appear not to be in the market to sell Grealish.

Spurs fans, can you actually see this deal going through on time or will Villa stand strong and keep hold of the youngster?

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. You really are having a laugh. Grealish is a dyed in the wool Villa fan who has clearly expressed his desire NOT to leave. And sorry Spurs but regardless of your piss-taking cheapskate Chairman NO Villa fan would consider Spurs a step up. We may be in the Championship now but we’ll be back and Jack will lead us and yet again you will have cause to rue your Chairman.

    • He is not worth trash and no tottenham fan wants him, we just want to sign somebody, at this point we would take a 23 y/o lad with no potential. This is how low we’ve got.

  2. Another farse like we know that we are famous for. On the other hand it is cruel on the player not to let him go if he really wants to play in the champions league. Villa have no chance ever to qualify for the CL. Give the lad a chance. This will destroy his future. He wa also an England prospect i my idea. Come on Levy give them what they want and I am sure that Jack will not let us down. He cannot be any worse than Sissoko or Llorente or Jansen who we paid good money for them especially Sissoko.

  3. If Jack is going to leave he should wait until a club with a chance of winning something comes in, and that aint Spurs.

  4. So Jack wants to leave? Strange, he’s said nothing publicly, certainly nothing to the Villa fans, all this stems from one BBC reporter (and probable Spurs fan) trying to make a name for himself.
