Jack Grealish reacts to Tottenham star’s post on Instagram

Jack Grealish has taken to social media to praise Harry Kane for his performance in Tottenham’s 4-1 win against Crystal Palace yesterday.

Kane started alongside Son Heung-min and Gareth Bale up front for the third Premier League game in a row, with Lucas Moura playing in the number ten role.

The England captain’s ability to drop deep and pick out runners was causing plenty of havoc in the Palace backline.

The 27-year-old set up two goals for Gareth Bale before bagging a second-half brace, with his first goal arguably being a contender of the goal of the season as he curled Matt Doherty’s pull back into the top corner from a tight angle.

After the game, Kane took to Instagram to post a picture of him celebrating his wondergoal with Doherty and Bale, along with the caption: “Brilliant from the lads tonight. Reckon this sums up that game.”

His England teammate Grealish responded to the post with ‘a goat’ emoji which is used as a reference to the ‘greatest of all time’.

This is not the first time the Aston Villa star has praised some of the Tottenham players on social media this season.

The 25-year-old labelled Tanguy Ndombele “a baller” last month, while he also took to Instagram to express his disbelief at Alli’s overhead kick against Wolfsberger a couple of weeks ago.

Grealish also previously responded to Kane’s post after Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Manchester City in November with the comment “You’re a joke”, while also raving about Son’s crossing ability

Spurs Web Opinion

Grealish certainly appears to be following Tottenham’s matches very closely. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that we almost signed him from Villa a couple of years ago.

His enthusiasm about the likes of Dele, Kane, Son and Ndombele suggests that he would be tempted by a move to Spurs. However, realistically, he will be out of our price range after the contract he signed at Villa last summer.
