Jack Roles and George Marsh among Development Squad players to leave Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur have this morning announced that nine of the club’s Development Squad have left following the conclusion of their contracts.

Enock Asante, Chay Cooper, Keenan Ferguson, George Marsh, Rodel Richards, Jack Roles, Aaron Skinner, Kazaiah Sterling and Shilow Tracey now find themselves as free agents ahead of the new campaign.

George Marsh and Kazaiah Sterling were the only two of the crop to have made a first-team appearance with Marsh having featured in an FA Cup tie at Tranmere Rovers in January, 2019 while Sterling turned out twice under Mauricio Pochettino in a Champions League tie in 2017 along with a FA Cup appearance in the loss at Crystal Palace in 2019.

Jack Roles impressed when giving the opportunity during the club’s overseas pre-season fixtures and found the back of the net against Bayern Munich in a penalty shoot-out win in the Audi Cup victory in 2019 and enjoyed loan spells at Cambridge, Burton and Stevenage.

Shilow Tracey spent the second half of last season on loan at Cambridge United and also featured in the first half of the campaign at Shrewsbury Town.
