Alasdair Gold has revealed what Ben Davies was seen doing during Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa, with the Welshman’s antics being further proof of the impact Roberto De Zerbi has made at Tottenham.
There seems to be togetherness and camaraderie at Spurs at the moment that were missing for large parts of the season.
Several players have talked very highly of what De Zerbi has brought to the club, with the Italian having quickly won the trust of his squad.
The Tottenham boss has used some rather unique ways to instil confidence in the players, and that is evidenced by the fact that every player wants to be involved.

Davies has been out with an injury since January and is not expected to kick a ball again for Tottenham, with the defender’s current deal running out this summer.
However, Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has now revealed that all players, including Davies, want to be part of the club’s relegation fight following the arrival of De Zerbi.
The journalist revealed that the Wales international travelled with the squad to Villa Park and could be seen watching the warm-ups before the game.
Davies was also with his teammates as they celebrated after the final whistle with the supporters. Gold adds that the defender ‘wanted to be part of the group and help in any way he can’.

Under Frank, it did appear as if all was not well within the club, with some Tottenham players even having spats on the field.
There were also confrontations between players and fans on a few occasions, and there seemed to be a clear disconnect.
All that has changed over the last few De Zerbi, with the Italian appearing to have bought everyone inside the dressing room, as well as the club and the supporters, together.
