Jamie O’Hara is at the end of his patience with one Tottenham star, ‘my head is gonna go’

Jamie O’Hara has reacted angrily to what one Tottenham star did when he came off the bench against Fulham on Saturday.

The relationship between the Tottenham squad and the fan base is worsening, which is reportedly a big worry internally at Hotspur Way.

Some Spurs players have borne the brunt of the criticism since Tottenham’s defeat to Fulham on Saturday, not least Pedro Porro, who was angry at Lucas Bergvall for applauding the fans after the final whistle.

However, it was one moment that happened during the second half that drew the ire of one pundit.

Jamie O’Hara is angered by what Tottenham star Xavi Simons did

For the third game in a row, Xavi Simons was left out of the starting eleven by Frank, and he came into the game in the second half with the Lilywhites chasing the contest.

Although Tottenham improved in the second period after their turgid showing in the first-half, Xavi struggled to make much of an impact on the game.

O’Hara was particularly enraged at the fact that the Dutchman was trying fancy flicks, admitting that he could not see anymore of that without losing his head.

The former Spurs midfielder wrote on social media: “If Xavi Simmons tries one more flick, my head’s gonna absolutely go.”

Thomas Frank’s comments may worry Xavi

When asked why the 22-year-old has not started of late, Frank hinted that other attackers suit his game plan better than Xavi for specific matches.

While that was understandable against Arsenal and PSG, when Tottenham were not expected to have much of the ball, it would be concerning for the player that he also did not start the Fulham game.

If the attacking midfielder is not trusted for a home game against a mid-table side at a time when Spurs are struggling to break down teams, he must wonder if Frank does not rate him that highly.
