Tottenham Hotspur’s latest defeat to Sunderland has sparked fierce criticism, with Jamie O’Hara delivering some brutal player ratings.
It was yet another disappointing outing for Tottenham Hotspur in their clash against Sunderland in the Premier League.
Roberto De Zerbi’s men fell to a 1-0 defeat away from home at the Stadium of Light, a loss that leaves Spurs in the bottom three of the Premier League table for the first time this season.
Relegation to the Championship now looks very likely for the Lilywhites, who need to turn their fortunes around rather quickly with six games left to spare.

Tottenham slammed by Jamie O’Hara after Sunderland defeat
Many Spurs fans will no doubt have been left frustrated watching their side lose yet another game this calendar year.
Sunday’s defeat now leaves Tottenham winless in their last 14 outings in 2026 in the English top flight, a poor run that has led them into a full-on relegation scrap.
Jamie O’Hara was just as frustrated as every other Tottenham supporter on Sunday, and he was vocal about it, taking to social media to hand out his player ratings.
The former Spurs midfielder labelled the display “absolutely woeful” as he delivered harsh assessments of those involved.
Dominic Solanke received the lowest of all ratings, getting a 0/10, with Randal Kolo Muani and Richarlison also rated poorly, receiving 1/10 respectively.
A few other players were handed more respectable ratings after their performances, with Antonin Kinsky given a 7, Pedro Porro a 5, Lucas Bergvall a 5 and Archie Gray a 5.
- Kinsky 7
- Porro 5
- Romero 4
- Van de ven 3
- Udogie 2
- Gallagher 2
- Bergvall 5
- Gray 5
- Muani 1
- Richardson 1
- Solanke 0
Spurs attacking struggles highlighted in Sunderland defeat
While some might label O’Hara’s ratings as overly critical, he is not wrong to question the Tottenham attack.
Spurs should have bagged at least one goal against Sunderland, given some of the chances they created, with the majority falling to Richarlison.
The Brazilian seemed to have left his shooting boots at home, as most of his efforts on goal were tame against the Black Cats.
FotMob, however, rated Solanke as the second-worst performer for Spurs, handing him a 6.1 match rating, with Bergvall ranked lowest with a 5.2.
