Jamie O’Hara tells hilarious training ground story about two former Spurs stars

Tottenham Hotspur have had some real characters through the years, from Gazza all the way through to the likes of Heung Min Son today.

However, David Bentley has to go down as one of the biggest dressing room characters to have ever graced the club.

Who can forget the images of Bentley in his little black pants soaking Harry Redknapp with a cooler full of water after qualifying for the Champions League? Iconic!

Jamie O’Hara has now revealed yet another incredible training ground story in which Bentley took it a little too far when it came to Jermaine Jenas’ car.

O’Hara claims that after Bentley was ambushed and pelted with snowballs by Jenas and some of the other Spurs lads, he chose to take his revenge.

David built a snowman in the car park before placing it right on the front seat of Jenas’ expensive Range Rover.

You probably had that one coming Jermaine!

O’Hara said (TalkSPORT): “He [Bentley] is probably one of the best characters in football. I’ve got so many stories about Dave, but they are probably not good for radio.

“The only one I have got is when it was snowing at Spurs’ training ground, and Jermaine Jenas and all that lot ganged up on him and pelted him with snowballs.

“They proper hammered him. But after training, before he went to the changing room, he went to Jermaine Jenas’ car and built a snowman – and put it on his front seat!

“So when Jermaine went to his car he opened his door and there’s a big snowman sat on his front seat melting in his Range Rover. It was a proper motor as well.”
