Jermaine Jenas and Sam Quek predict how Spurs will do against Crystal Palace

Premier League football returns this weekend after a seemingly endless international break. Spurs play Crystal Palace on Saturday, hoping to improve on their bad start to the season and Jermaine Jenas believes they will do just that.

Jenas did predictions for the Mirror’s ‘Footie5’ alongside ex-England hockey player Sam Quek. Both pundits predicted a Spurs win with Jenas saying (The Mirror): “A much better performance for Spurs against Arsenal will have given them confidence, still a lot to work on but they’ll have too much for Palace.”

Quek did not have as much confidence in Spurs but still believed they would win the match: “I don’t know what to expect from Tottenham. Awful vs Man City, poor at times against Arsenal, but I think they will scrape a home win here.”

Tottenham fans will be hoping that Harry Kane can put in a good performance after he was on hot form in the international break. The prolific striker scored three and assisted one against Bulgaria with a complete performance.

Spurs Web Opinion

It is integral that Spurs get a win against Crystal Palace after the inconsistent start to the season. However, Palace are not likely to be a pushover, especially if Zaha starts, so both pundits are right to predict a difficult match.
