Tottenham Hotspur have found themselves all over the back pages for all the wrong reasons this week, and it all started with a Jose Mourinho sacking.
Ever since the Special One lost his job at Manchester United, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has been heavily linked with the position (Guardian).
United chose to fill the void with interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer until the end of the season, but have yet to decide who will take over past the summer.
The former United striker took charge of his first game yesterday evening, with his side thrashing Cardiff 5-1 away from home.
Tottenham fans will be hoping this takes some of the emphasis off their own gaffer.
Jermaine Jenas came up with a very witty tweet after the final whistle in Wales, stating that this was the first time United have scored five goals in a game since the retirement of the great Sir Alex Ferguson.
Who needs Poch, ay? (Shhh)
First time Man Utd have scored 5 goals in one game, since the days of Sir Alex Ferguson! Brilliant from solskjaer! Man Utd sign him up on that long term contract right now!!!!?
