Joe Hart sends classy message to Spurs fans after joining Celtic

Joe Hart has sent a classy message to Tottenham Hotspur supporters after it was confirmed that he had completed his exit from the club.

Celtic confirmed earlier this afternoon that the 34-year-old had signed a three-year contract.

Hart acknowledged that he did not have many opportunities to play for Jose Mourinho’s side, having featured on ten occasions across the Europa League and FA Cup (transfermarkt).

The former England goalkeeper claimed that despite his lack of game time, he tried his best on the training pitch and was proud to have represented the club.

Hart paid tribute to the playing staff and those behind the scenes and signed off by claiming that he hopes the club end their long wait for a piece of silverware.

Hart was a popular figure in the dressing room in North London and provided experience and guidance for the younger members of the Spurs squad.

At 34, he deserves to be playing regular first-team football, rather than the reality of being Tottenham’s third-choice goalkeeper, following the arrival of Pierluigi Gollini from Atalanta.
