Tottenham Hotspur are not expected to welcome any more new arrivals before the transfer window closes.
Spurs announced the arrival of Emerson Royal from Barcelona earlier this evening, with the 22-year-old having signed a five-year contract.
Emerson’s arrival took Tottenham’s tally of new additions in the summer window to five, following the signatures of Pierluigi Gollini, Cristian Romero, Bryan Gil and Pape Matar Sarr.
Cameron Carter-Vickers could still leave #THFC before the deadline. Inserting get-out clause in case there is late drama, but no more arrivals are expected

#thfc That's Spurs done for today & the window in terms of incomings (barring a remarkable late development etc). Still a chance of some lowkey outgoings, including Carter-Vickers, before the deadline. https://t.co/GytrhHh110

Hopefully Spurs still have one ace up their sleeves in terms of a player who can make a difference in the final third of the pitch in either a playmaker or a back-up striker.
It wouldn’t be the first time in which the club have taken supporters by surprise, the arrival of Rafael van der Vaart from Real Madrid is certainly one of the most memorable transfer deadline day moments in Spurs history.
