Some Spurs fans are divided over the speculation linking the Lilywhites with a move for Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan.
Maignan has been one of the most consistent goalkeepers in the French top-flight in recent seasons and has previously worked with Spurs assistant coach Joao Sacramento and goalkeeping coach Nuno Santos during their time at the Ligue 1 outfit.
He was first linked with a move to Spurs last week when Eurosport journalist Manu Lonjon suggested that the North Londoners are looking at the Lille star as an option to replace Hugo Lloris.
Le10 Sport reported earlier this week that Jose Mourinho is desperate to bring Maignan to North London this summer and that he was also intent on selling Lloris.
The Tottenham captain’s future has been subject of speculation over the last few months, with multiple reports suggesting that his future at the Champions League finalists is in doubt.
While some Spurs fans felt the club were right to want to replace Lloris with his compatriot, others weren’t so convinced that the Lille star would be the best option for Tottenham.
Yep, thanks for the years Hugo.
But we need to move on from you.

If we are going for him why not go for ramsdale from Bournemouth he makes more sense to me has Prem experience, number 1 at Bournemouth, up and coming young goalkeeper who will no doubt play for England at some point and he has been awesome this season too ! Could learn from Hugo

Spurs Web Opinion
Despite so many reports suggesting that Lloris could be on his way out, I don’t think there is any chance that he will be sold this summer. Even if the club were to bring in a top young keeper when the transfer window opens, it would probably be with the idea of taking over the reins from Hugo a season or two down the line.
