Tottenham Hotspur enjoyed a rare win at Old Trafford earlier this week, and a 3-0 thumping at that, putting even more pressure on the struggling Jose Mourinho.

And fans were quick to rub it in the special one’s face, breaking out into chants of ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning’ from the away end of Manchester United’s ground.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side absolutely dismantled United in a clinical second half display with a brace from Brazilian Lucas Moura which followed Harry Kane’s powerful header from a free-kick.

Well, now Jose Mourinho has responded to the chants from the Spurs faithful by telling the Evening Standard: “They didn’t have that song when we beat them at Wembley a couple of months ago.

“A cup final they had a big dream to go to, a title they had a big dream to win, because they don’t win many. Of course they were not singing that [then].”

What are your thoughts, Spurs fans? Is he right? Does Mourinho need to take a joke?
