Jose Mourinho left ‘unhappy’ with decision ahead of facing Manchester City

Jose Mourinho is said to be far from impressed with the Premier League following their latest fixture reshuffle.

It was confirmed that Spurs’ trip to Goodinson Park to face Everton will take place on April 16, while the visit of Southampton has been switched to April 21 due to the Saints’ involvement in the FA Cup semi-final.

The Mirror have claimed that Mourinho has been left frustrated with the arrangement of the Southampton fixture which comes four days before they take on Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final.

City also have a fixture on the same evening against Aston Villa, but could decide to rest some key players ahead of the Wembley showpiece with the Premier League title in their sights.

Tottenham are unlikely to be in a position to afford any key players the chance to rest as they look to battle to finish in the top four and secure Champions League qualification.

Mourinho is said to have wanted a full week of uninterrupted training with his players ahead of the final.
