Jose Mourinho names four Spurs players he likes very much despite little game time

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, is already making his mark in North London after just three games in charge of the club.

The Special One has introduced new tactics, a new line-up, and a new formation to the Lilywhites that seems to have turned a corner in Tottenham’s season.

This came after a woeful start under Mauricio Pochettino, which led to his heart-breaking sacking after over five years in charge.

Mourinho has largely named a settled start line-up across the three matches so far, with Paulo Gazzaniga, Serge Aurier, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier, Dele Alli, Harry Kane, and Heung Min Son making all three starting XIs.

This hasn’t left much room for Mourinho to expand and experiment with his full squad, although he has now named a few of the players he really likes.

Asked about Juan Foyth, Jose went on to add Ryan Sessegnon, Giovani Lo Celso, and Kyle Walker-Peters to the list of players he is impressed with. Only Lo Celso has made a cameo under Mourinho out of those four.

He claims that opportunities may come this month, (Football London): “There are other players that I like very, very much and I try to give some stability to the team and there is no space for everyone, so we look to other boys. Ryan Sessegnon, Lo Celso, Walker-Peters, we have other players with potential to play that they didn’t have yet the opportunity to play. I would say let’s wait for the end of December for the accumulation of matches and for sure opportunities will come.”
