Ndombele was taken off for Erik Lamela in the 74th minute of the 1-0 defeat to the Seagulls, limping across the touchline much to the dismay of Spurs fans everywhere.
However, the injury is apparently nothing to be concerned about as Tanguy is said to be available for selection against the Blues in the Premier League.
Mourinho will be thankful for this as Ndombele has been Tottenham’s main creative force in midfield this season, enjoying somewhat of a renaissance after a poot first campaign.
The midfield maestro has already played in 27 games this season across all competitions for Spurs, including 18 in the Premier League. So far, he has six goals and three assists in total (TransferMarkt).
With Harry Kane still out injured, Spurs may rely on Ndombele as their creative spark against fierce rivals, Chelsea.
Asked Mourinho about Ndombele's knock that ended his game at Brighton and he said he'll be fine for selection for tomorrow night.
