Jose Mourinho has provided an update to journalists who have dialled into Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Sheffield United press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the trip to Brammall Lane for Sunday afternoon’s Premier League clash.
Pre-match press conferences continue to take place on the Zoom video conferencing after the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown restrictions meaning that journalists can no longer attend Hotspur Way in person.
Tottenham head into the match having only managed to win one of their last five top flight outings which has seen the North Londoners drop out of the top four.
The Blades are currently bottom of the table, but did register their first win in the league this season against Newcastle United in their last fixture.
Mourinho has revealed that Steven Bergwijn is back in contention for selection after he missed the Fulham game since he only returned to training on Tuesday.
Journalist Alasdair Gold who was part of the press conference confirmed the news on social media.
