Tottenham Hotspur take on Wolves away this weekend in the Premier League, but they will be without both their record signing and one of their former record signings.
Tanguy Ndombele and Erik Lamela are both ruled out through injury, which marks the Frenchman’s second spell on the sidelines at Spurs already, while injuries are no stranger to Lamela.
The Argentine’s career in North London has been plagued by injury ever since he moved from Roma to Spurs, with the infamous year-long spell on the sidelines during his first couple of seasons with Tottenham.
Jose Mourinho has now revealed that, although Lamela has already been out for a number of weeks, he will be injured for another two months yet. Spurs fans will not see the winger again until 2020.
As for Tanguy Ndombele, Mourinho revealed some better news, stating that he would be back in time to play over the Christmas period.
