Tottenham Hotspur went out and broke their transfer record in the summer to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon after the Frenchman impressed during the 2018/19 campaign.
Not only did the midfielder stand out in Ligue 1, but he also shone in the Champions League consistently against the likes of Manchester City.
However, it has been a relatively stop-start Spurs beginning for the player, as his start to the season has been plagued with injury.
Ndombele missed a couple of weeks at the start of the campaign under Mauricio Pochettino, before securing a regular spot in the starting line-up.
The Frenchman then found himself back on the bench after Jose Mourinho took over the squad, before he picked up a groin injury.
Ndombele is finally back in training and will now be looking to force his way back into the first-team under a new head coach.
In his press conference today, Mourinho revealed that he can see Ndombele playing three positions, a number six role, a number eight role, and as a double pivot.
