Jose Mourinho reveals whether Troy Parrott will be on the bench in FA Cup clash

Tottenham Hotspur take on Norwich City this week in the FA Cup fifth round, as they bid to make it into the next stage of the competition and push for the trophy.

Spurs were last in action on Sunday against Wolves in the Premier League, losing 3-2 to make it three consecutive defeats across all competitions.

However, they do face Norwich, the bottom team in the Premier League, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, giving them home advantage in an FA Cup first leg tie for the first time this season.

Both of Spurs’ previous ties have been won at home, but only after they forced a replay away from home during the original match.

Troy Parrott has now technically played two matches in two days this week, after coming on for the final three minutes against Wolves and starting for the U23 side last night.

However, Mourinho has now revealed that the 18-year-old was only given 45 minutes for the youth team to ensure he could appear on the bench against Norwich tomorrow.
