Jose Mourinho’s responds when asked what advice he would give new Spurs boss

Jose Mourinho has refused to give any advice to the next Tottenham Hotspur head coach in an interview with television host James Corden.

Mourinho received his marching orders in North London in April with the club having completed a spectacular fall from grace after topping the Premier League table in November and had dropped to seventh by the time his services were no longer required.

There was also a surprise exit in the Europa League at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb which saw the club lose another potential route back into the Champions League.

Mauricio Pochettino was heavily linked with a return to Tottenham, but Paris Saint-Germain have remained steadfast in keeping the Argentine at the Ligue 1 outfit.

Antonio Conte also held talks with the club, only for a deal to fail to materialise after concerns grew during discussions.

When asked if he had any advice for his successor, Mourinho told The Sun: “I am not going to give any advice. I say goodbye, I wish you luck and I move on.”
