Journalist claims 27-year-old will not be at Spurs next season – Attracting lots of interest

Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto has asserted that Giovani Lo Celso will not be a Tottenham player next season, with the Argentine said to be attracting plenty of interest around Europe.

Multiple reports over the last couple of weeks have indicated that Lo Celso is one of the players that Tottenham are currently listening to offers for as Ange Postecolgou looks set to oversee a mass clear-out this summer (The Evening Standard).

Recently, some Spanish outlets have reported that Real Betis are keen on bringing the 27-year-old back to the club but it has been suggested that it would be difficult for Manuel Pellegrini’s side to match the salary that the midfielder currently earns at Spurs (Mucho Deporte).

Multiple clubs interested in Giovani Lo Celso

Moretto has now taken to social media to state that it is not only Betis who are interested in Lo Celso but Aston Villa and Napoli also have their eyes on the Tottenham man.

The journalist reveals that there are ‘no advanced negotiations’ for the Argentina international at the moment but he asserts that the player will not be at Spurs next season.

Spurs Web Opinion

Lo Celso is evidently one of the most sellable assets among the players who have been deemed surplus to requirements at Tottenham. So, I expect the 27-year-old to be one of the first ones to depart over the coming weeks.
