Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane next summer, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The England international is currently under contract in north London until the summer of 2024 (transfermarkt).
Kane was heavily linked with a move away from Tottenham in the summer of 2021 with Manchester City having been keen to take him to the Etihad Stadium and Pep Guardiola admitting that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy was not prepared to enter into any talks over a potential sale (Manchester Evening News).
The Premier League champions have since bolstered their frontline with the addition of the prolific Erling Haaland who has made a remarkable start to life at his new club.
Bayern Munich have also been credited with interest in the Spurs marksman having lost Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona (The Sun).
Jacobs told The Football Terrace YouTube channel: “We know that there was interest from Manchester City a few seasons back. Chelsea are the more likely threat coming from the Premier League at the moment.
“They will look at Harry Kane for sure.
“Todd Boehly is very keen on showing Chelsea can bring in proven Premier League players, particularly attack-minded players.
“They want a marquee name from within the Premier League, they want to bring in someone to hit the ground running, look at Gabriel Jesus, how beneficial he has been to Arsenal. Jesus has just been able to transition instantly, Kane would be able to transition instantly.”

Harry Kane’s future at Tottenham is always going to be a hot topic as his contract continues to run down.
Daniel Levy is highly unlikely to enter into talks with Chelsea given the previous bad blood between the two teams over the Lula Modric saga and it would be hoped Kane would not consider a move to Stamford Bridge given the rivalry between the two sides.
Kane is likely to be waiting to see the outcome of Antonio Conte’s contract talks before committing his own future.
