Journalist claims new signing may make appearance against Man City

Tottenham Hotspur face one of the biggest games of the season this weekend, despite being only two weeks into their new campaign.

The Lilywhites face a trip to the Etihad and, let’s face it, playing away to the two-time reigning champions is just about as tough as it gets.

Spurs started their new season with three points as they came from behind to beat newly-promoted Aston Villa 3-1 on Saturday.

Man City had no trouble demolishing West Ham 5-0 and that was without Sergio Aguero or Bernardo Silva starting the game.

Tottenham new boy, Tanguy Ndombele, made his Prem debut against Villa and marked it with a superb goal from outside the area.

Fellow new recruit, Giovani Lo Celso, will be hoping to mark his first appearance for the club in a similar fashion, and some believe we may see him this weekend.

Football London journalist, Alasdair Gold, claims that he would be surprised if Lo Celso is not on the bench for the match.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I can’t see Poch chucking Lo Celso into the hardest match of the season, but he may appear off the bench towards the end perhaps.
