ESPN journalist Mark Ogden has claimed that Nuno Espirito Santo will have little to no say on the future of Harry Kane this summer.
Manchester City have been established as the front runners for Kane’s signature while Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the Spurs star.
In fact, it has been suggested recently that the Blues are prepared to offer Tammy Abraham to Spurs as part of a deal to bring Kane to Stamford Bridge.
Nuno Espirito Santo made it clear in his first press conference as Spurs boss that he has no doubts about the England captain’s future.
However, that has not put an end to the speculation over the 28-year-old’s future, with some sources suggesting that the striker might not turn up to Hotspur Way for pre-season training in an effort to engineer a move.
Ogden has ruled out any chance of that happening, insisting that Kane will not want upset the club.
The journalist also insisted that Nuno might be the last person to know of the striker’s future, with the decision coming down to Kane and the club’s ownership.

Spurs Web Opinion
Even if Tottenham let Kane know that they will not sell him, the striker will know that he can leave next summer if he does not put pen to paper on a new contract. Next summer will be the last window that Spurs get a sizable fee for him as he will have just two years left on his deal then. So, there is no reason for Kane to sulk and ruin his relationship with the club and the fans.
